Do you have any NHS places?

Unfortunately, No. We currently treat thousands of NHS patients across our collect each year but in order to do this we must also maintain a private patient list to subsidise the NHS work. This obviously uses the finite capacity our associates have. NHS payments alone cannot sustain the business so although we would love to treat more patients, the current financial model for NHS Dentistry means we cannot increase our NHS patient list and remain solvent.

Do you see emergency cases even if the patient is not registered?

Yes. Any emergency can call us for an appointment and we will endeavour to see you as soon as possible on a private, pay per visit, basis. We are open 9-5 Monday to Friday. More detail can be found here.

Do you see emergency patients over the weekend?

Yes if you are a DenPlan patient, either one of our on call associates or an associate from a local practice will see you over the weekend. This may require you to visit another practice but will be covered by DenPlan if emergency care is an option in your subscription.

Do you fit dentures?

Do you have parking?

No unfortunately we do not have parking, however directly opposite the practice there is the town car park.

Do you have disabled/ramped access?

Yes we have disabled parking for ONE car around the back of the practice- please inform reception if you need to access this, we also have a wheelchair/ramped automatic doorway. For patients that struggle using the stairs we have downstairs surgeries that we can use- please inform reception if needing a downstairs surgery when booking appointments.

Do you dental consumables?

Yes we sell a wide range of consumables such as all sizes of TEPEs, Floss, Toothpaste, Manual Toothbrushes, Interspace brushes, Disclosing tablets, Mouth washes etc.

Do you offer teeth whitening?

Yes, we offer Boutique teeth whitening on a private basis. For further information on whitening click here.

should i come to my appointment if i have a cold sore?

No, you must call the practice immediately to reschedule until the sore has completely healed, cold sores are highly contagious (Herpes Simplex Virus) and poses risks to staff and other patients, plus it can be painful and crack/bleed during treatment. If you come to an appointment with a cold sore you will not been seen.

Do you offer payment plans or a subscription model for private treatments?

Yes we offer DenPlan care and DenPlan essentials which are payments on a monthly basis that can help people budget for private care. A new patient consultation is compulsory before starting DenPlan due to the banding system which will result how much you pay per month . You can find out more information about DenPlan click here.


do i need to fill out a medical history form?

Yes it is compulsory to fill out a medical history form. This is a legal requirement so that the clinician can see you. Please make sure ALL medical conditions and medications are listed as this can effect some dental treatments such as hygiene appointments or extractions.

Can i have dental treatment after major surgery?

This includes Joint replacements, Heart surgery, Strokes, Cancer treatment.

No you need to wait 6 months (unless your surgeon suggests otherwise) before you can have any dental treatment including hygienists visits. This is due to bacteria being spread around the mouth it can increase the risk of infection to the area of recent treatment or organ. If your Surgeon suggests dental treatment can resume earlier than 6 months please get written confirmation and a signature to show the clinician. Please ask reception for a specialist letter to take with you if you are undergoing any of these surgeries in the near future. If you have no written confirmation/signature you will not be seen.
